Major Midget tryouts start, new players welcome

The Major Midget Wild hit the ice for the first time on September 10 in Vankleek Hill.Tryouts for the Eastern Ontario Wild Major Midget AAA team began on September 10 when 21 skaters and goalies hit the ice in Vankleek Hill. The Wild will continue to accept registrations at the Major Midget level through to September 22, by which time all junior teams will be finalized.
If you are still participating in junior tryouts, and would like to join the Wild tryouts if you are released from junior, please contact coach Georges St-Jean (see contact info below).
All players who wish to attend must first register with their home association and then complete the on-line registration process on the Wild website. Players who have not registered with their home associations will NOT be allowed on the ice. Contact your home association for registration information.
To register for the Wild tryouts, select the “Online Registration” tab in the left-hand navigation bar.
Players who are released by the Wild have the option of participating in the Major Midget draft to join another AAA team. Further details on the draft will be available on the Wild website soon.
The schedule for the Major Midget Wild tryouts is available under the “Master Schedule” tab in the lefthand navigation bar.
