Decision Day for AAA on January 30

A decision on the future of AAA hockey in the ODMHA will be made on January 30.

A decision on the future of AAA hockey in the Ottawa area will be made on January 30, when the ODMHA will vote on whether to make the top level of competitive play a permanent fixture in the National Capital.

 

In the lead-up to the decision, a special information meeting will be held on at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 16th 2010 at the ODMHA office (1247 Kilborn Place, 1st Floor meeting hall) in Ottawa. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the success of the AAA pilot project is welcome to attend.    All Minor Hockey Association District Chairs, Association Presidents, and League Presidents are also invited.  The meeting will be open to the media as well.

 

Members of the AAA Steering Committee, who have overseen the three-year AAA pilot project, will make a short presentation, followed by discussion and a question and answer period.  

 

The vote on the future of AAA will be taken two weeks later, at 1 pm on Saturday January 30, 2010, also at the at the ODMHA office (1247 Kilborn Place, Ottawa).  The decision will be made by all voting members of the ODMHA – Executive members, Minor Council, District Chairs and Association/League Presidents with voting authority.
