Important meeting on future of bantam and midget programs in District 3

2010-03-22

March 24, 7pm at the St-Isidore arena

To all coaches and parents in District 3, there will an additional public consultation meeting held by District representatives to discuss the lack of players at the Bantam and Midget levels.

(District 3 includes the following associations: Hawkesbury, Vankleek Hill, St-Isidore, Casselman, Embrun, Clarence Creek and Rockland.)

Discussions resulting from the first round of consultations have resulted in recommendations from parents and coaches at the PGL and Nation levels that could have a significant impact on the future of the AA (Cobras) program at the Midget level, and possibly at the Bantam level as well.  Players currently playing with the Wild (AAA) who return to the AA level could be affected.

Don’t miss this chance to learn about the proposed changes, and voice your opinion. Parents and coaches from all levels (Atom, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget) are invited to attend, as the proposed changes will be put in place for a pilot project that will run for two or possibly three years.

The meeting will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday on March 24, 2010, at the St-Isidore arena.
